unibg-ircd
[0 users on Ohloh] |
It is a small patch set to ircd-ratbox and is intended to remain small in size.
This ircd is compatible with unibg-services, a patched ratbox-services, used exclusively on UniBG.
This ircd has some hard-coded options for UniBG and therefore may not be suitable for another network without some editing.
Key differences with the official ircd-ratbox:
Channel mode +r requires usernames to be registered for at least 6 ...

Achille
[0 users on Ohloh] |
It is based on a IRC VladBot2.1h.
Achille tries to detect sentences where users talk to it. Then, it gives an adapted response (they are diverse): it depends on relationship you have with it (if you are not sympathetic to it, ask it politely, or if it bore you, ask it to keep quiet, don't insult it).

It's easy to use and you can write your own modules for it in C.
Because it is written in C without any external third party libraries i cut out a lot of middlemen and make it faster. Also, more vulnerable, but maybe we can fix that with the help of the community.
I use -ldl functions to load and unload modules into it's address space, it's all very simple and didn't take long to write.
You can send a kill -USR...

Usually the bot doesn't make any sense, but it's funny, and sometimes very hilarious.
SeeBorg uses a variation of Markov Chain algorithm for building replies. It's a C++ clone of PyBorg, originally written by Tom Morton.

unibg-services
[0 users on Ohloh] |
However, due to old habits and the extensive use of hybserv on UniBG over the past 8 years until March 2007, this project imports most of hybserv's (sometimes controversial) features.
These services are compatible with ircd-ratbox and unibg-ircd, a patched ircd-ratbox used on UniBG.
Key differences with ratbox-services:
extended database to take into account UniBG's specific changes to hybser...
