Nexgent is a nagios like daemon that runs on paravirtualized Xen guests. Vital information such as loads, iowait, memory usage and disk usage are exported to the privileged domain via Xenbus.

The privileged domain can then establish inotify like watches on guest values, enabling the privileged domain to take action on events (such as loads getting too high, memory being exhausted or a disk filling up).

This program is not yet release quality, but soon will be.
